Literary Contest *Closed*

This is a contest for writers; I will post a group of characters I made up for the contest.  Their will be a bio of each character but their background will be left up to you characters from the list and make sure to keep that character's personality in tact as you write.  I will have 3 different plots to choose from.  (Note: I am not saying use all the character on the list if you can okay)

These Characters are not in any story that I'm writing and were created strictly for the contest.  What is listed under the characters are the bases to go on.  I did not list height, age, species, or background.  That is for you to decide when you write the character.  If you have a question about the characters or if you want to know if you can add/change something, then I would appreciate that you please note me first.  I promise I will get back to you with an answer within 24hrs.  Have fun and be creative.

Plots

1. There once was a God who was coming to the end of his life so he used the last bit of his energy to create 3 children to take his place.  (C1) One to rule the heavens, (C2) one to rule the Underworld, and (C3) one who watches the in – between   (Earth).  A war breaks out between the siblings of Heaven (C1) and the Underworld (C2) and (C3) is caught in the middle trying to keep Earth from being destroyed by the two older siblings.

2. A guardian angel's (C1) first job is to keep (C2) from harm because (C2) has a prophecy to fulfill but it's hard when (C2) doesn't believe in prophecies.

3. A veteran assassin (C1) is assigned to kill (C2).  The assassin is finding it hard to do.

Rules (Updated)

• You have to choose one of the given plots.
• You have to choose a character from the list to fill the main parts.
• Do not alter the profiles of the characters
• Must have at least 5000 words (If it is not 5000 words then story must be complete and hit all major plot points)
But seriously you have a while you should be able to come up with at least 5000 words by the end of July
• Your OC can make a cameo appearance, but they cannot play a big part because this is not about your character.
• I don't mind if you adding romance just don't let it overshadow the plots given (yaoi and yuri is allowed)
• I don't fret too much on grammar. Just make sure to capitalize your words and place periods where they should go.
• Spelling, please. Please spell words correctly
• This is mainly judged on creativity, characterization, and plot consistency.
• This is not a story to showcase your characters.
• You can use as many characters from the list that you want, but be smart about it.  Don't overcrowd the story.

Don't be afraid to post your story early if you finish.

FAQ:  Does it have to be 5000?  I would prefer it but it you can't then story must be complete.  Ex. You have finished the story but it is a few words short of 5000 I will except it. 

    If this is a matter of you needing more time then I need to know a week before deadlines so I can work with you.  I need to know how close you are to finishing the story or reaching 5000.

If you reach 5000  words and you are at the end of the deadline you can still submit the story

5000 is not a lot, writers who participate in Nanwrimo write 50,000 in a month and I am giving you that same time to write a tenth of that.  I, myself don't write often but if I sit down and focus I can crank out 5000 in a week's time.

2nd place is you can win a random character from the list and the story will be feature for a week.
